CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It didn’t take long for recently acquired Jazzman to reintroduce himself in a Jazz uniform. Just 12 seconds after checking into the game against the Charlotte Hornets, he hit his first 3-pointer in his second stint with Utah.

“It was good, it was good to make the first one. Anytime you come to a new place, I guess it’s not a new-new place, but you know you want to do it right,” said Korver after the game.
And do it right he did as the 37-year old veteran knocked down four 3-pointers in a 14 point outing.

Korver Likes His New Teammates
What makes his second Jazz debut even more impressive is that fact that he had only an hour with the team during shootaround this morning to get to know his new teammates.
“It’s hard to get a feel for how guys play in the shootaround,” said Korver before gushing about his new teammates. “Ricky is such a great passer, he’s got such a good feel for the game. Rudy is enormous. I’ve played against him a few times but just with my ability out the perimeter, if I send a guy one way, he’s going to be there. That’s a big thing for me.”
Korver went on to praise Jae Crowder, who he played with briefly in Cleveland and who also had a strong night shooting the ball with six made 3-pointers.
“We have a long way to go in all this, a long way to go,” said Korver. “I really like our team and it was a good first win.”
