Stallions Unveil Uniforms, Make First Draft Pick

With the sixth overall pick in the “Protect or Pick” quarterback draft on Tuesday, the Stallions selected Josh Woodrum.
“Number one, Josh is a football player, and number two, he’s a great person,” said Stallions general manager Randy Mueller in a press release. “I think he’s going to be a great addition to the chemistry of the football team, this organization and the community. He’s got a lot of outstanding attributes as a person and as a player that will make an immediate impact both on and off the field.”

Woodrum, a four-year starter at Liberty University, has experience playing for six different NFL clubs since joining the league as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He holds the Liberty career records in passing yards, completions, total offense and touchdowns responsible for.
The Stallions will begin play Feb. 10 on the road against the Arizona Hotshots. Their first home game at Rice-Eccles Stadium will be on Feb. 23 against Arizona.
