Hansen, Blair Accept Invites To Senior Bowl

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A pair of Ute defensive standouts are headed to Mobile, Ala. to participate in the 2019 Senior Bowl.
Linebacker Chase Hansen and safety Marquise Blair will be representing the Utes in the annual postseason game.
Hansen was a beast behind the lines for Utah this season. The senior from Lone Peak High School won Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors twice this year while playing linebacker for the first time. He leads the Ute with 101 tackles and is fourth in the nation in tackles for loss with 22. He also has two interceptions, one he returned for a touchdown, and a fumble recovery.

Blair is known as one of the hardest hitting players on the Utah squad. On the year, he has 46 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble.

The Senior Bowl will be played Saturday, Jan. 26th at 12:30 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. It will be broadcast on NFL Network.
