Weber State Crowned Big Sky Champs With 26-13 Win Over Idaho State

POCATELLO, Idaho – The Weber State Wildcats take home a share of the Big Sky Championship for the second straight season as they beat the Idaho State Bengals, 26-13.
Freshman running back Josh Davis had another outstanding performance with 127 rushing yards and one touchdown on 27 carries.

Quarterback Jake Constantine threw for 196 passing yards on 18-of-24 attempts.
Idaho State quarterback Tanner Gueller threw two touchdowns and one interception with 267 yards. He connected with wide receiver Mitch Gueller nine times for 124 yards and one touchdown.
Weber State’s defense had a strong first half as they held the Bengals scoreless, while the offense put up 16 points.
The Bengals put their first points on the scoreboard in the third quarter with two touchdowns but the Wildcats found the end zone in between the two scores from Idaho State.
The Wildcats finish their regular season with a 9-2 record overall and 7-1 conference record.
They will share the Big Sky Conference Championship with UC Davis and Eastern Washington. They will wait to see who they will play in the FCS Playoffs.
