SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah announced their kickoff time against longtime rival BYU on Saturday, November 24. The game will be played at Rice Eccles Stadium at 8 p.m. on FS1.
2018 will be the 99th meeting between the rivals. Utah leads the series 60-34-4 and have won the last seven games and 8 of the last 9.
Last season, Utah beat BYU in Provo 19-13. Quarterback Tyler Huntley threw 300 yards in the win.
This season’s showdown will mark the first time that the Utes and Cougars play in the final game of the regular season since Utah joined the Pac-12 in 2011.
A rare occasion will take place next season when the Holy War rivalry will be renewed in Provo in the season opener for both teams on August 29.
Utah is 7-3 overall and 5-3 in the Pac-12 and will face Colorado on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on Pac-12 Network.
BYU is 5-5 this season and will take on New Mexico State in Provo on Saturday at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN2.
