LOGAN, Utah – For the sixth time this season, Utah State quarterback Jordan Love has been honored as the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning.
The accolade comes to the sophomore signal caller after Love led the Aggies to their nine-straight win in a 62-24 victory over San Jose State.

Playing in just three-fourths of the game, Love racked up a career-high 491 yards and five touchdown passes. He also rushed for another score and completed a career high 32 passing attempts in the win. As a team, the Aggies gained 804 yards of total offense, the most in school history and the third-most in Mountain West Conference history.
“I’m very happy for Jordan,” said Utah State head coach Matt Wells. “He threw some really nice balls. He continues to be calm and very composed at the line of scrimmage…I also think it’s a direct reflection of the guys around him.”
Love was also named to the Davey O’Brien Award’s “Great 8” list on Monday.
Currently ranked 13th in the Coaches Poll and 14th in the AP Poll, Love and the Aggies, who lead the nation in scoring offense, will travel to face Colorado State on Saturday. That comes after Utah State finished its home schedule 6-0 for just the third time in program history.
