LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies finished their regular season home schedule with an undefeated 6-0 record as they knocked off San Jose State 62-24 on senior day in Logan.

Social media was buzzing around the Aggies with the nine wins so far this season, the record setting offensive performance and finishing the regular season home schedule undefeated.

Fans sent tweets to the College Football Playoff Committee about getting Utah State in the next ranking on Tuesday.

Record-Setting Offensive Performance

Utah State racked up 804 total yards of offense which is a school record. It is the third highest total in Mountain West Conference history.

KSL’s Matthew Glade was in Logan and compiled a highlight package of the impressive performance.

Aggies fan Haley Jean was so happy about the win that she lost her voice after the game.

Utah State fan Jason Nelson is impressed with the play of the offense.

Undefeated At Home

With the win over San Jose State, Utah State finished their regular season home schedule at 6-0. It is the fourth time in school history that the Aggies have accomplished this. The other three times were in 1907, 2012 and 2014.

The Aggies still have a chance to host the Mountain West Conference Championship if they finish with the best record in the conference.

The players celebrate in the locker room after accomplishing one of their season goals.

Utah State fan Michael Lundberg was happy to make it to the final home game of the regular season.

Utah Statesman Sports Manager Jaden Johnson points out the dominance of the Aggies offense at home.

College Football Playoff Ranking Snub

Despite the 8-1 record heading into the San Jose State game, the Aggies have yet to appear in the College Football Playoff Rankings, who have released two rankings thus far. The next set of rankings will be released on Tuesday.

Utah State fan ‘USUtheRightBlue’ calls out the committee and points out one of two group of five teams to make the rankings but not the Aggies.

The Mountain West Conference Twitter account makes a case for Utah State.

Aggies fan Brad Francis questions the committee and isn’t too optimistic about an appearance from Utah State in the next rankings.

Utah State will play at Colorado State on Saturday at 12 p.m. on AT&T SportsNet.
