Weber Stated Allows Big Second Half By San Diego In 83-66 Loss

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – On the strength of a 58-point second half, San Diego blew past Weber State for the 83-66 season-opening win.
The Wildcats led 32-25 at the halftime break before the Toreros exploded in the second half.
Cody John led the Wildcats in scoring with 19 points. Israel Barnes was the only other Wildcat in double figure scoring with 12 points.
San Diego’s Isaiah Pineiro was the game’s leading scorer with 25 points. He also finished with 11 rebounds to complete the double-double.
Weber State will next play their home opener Friday at 7 p.m. against Bethesda. The game will be broadcast on Pluto TV.
