Devontae Booker Scores First Touchdown Of The Season For Denver

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah running back Devontae Booker found the end zone for the first time this season. His first since October 30, 2017.

Ziggy Ansah returned to the lineup and collected a sack for the Detroit Lions. He missed the last six games.

Here’s how former college stars from Utah performed on the big stage this last week:

Former Utes

Tony Bergstrom – Washington Redskins (5-3)
Bergstrom played 66 snaps on the offensive line in the Redskins’ 38-14 loss at home to the Atlanta Falcons.

Garett Bolles – Denver Broncos (3-6)
Bolles started and played every snap at left tackle in the Broncos’ 19-17 loss to the Texans.

Devontae Booker – Denver Broncos (3-6)
Booker had three carries rush for 15 yards and one touchdown. He added two catches for 9 yards but also fumbled the ball once. The touchdown was his first since October 30 of last season. Denver lost to the Houston Texas 19-17.

Kylie Fitts – Chicago Bears (5-3)
Fitts played 36 snaps on defense in the Bears 41-9 win over the Buffalo Bills.

Dominique Hatfield – Los Angeles Rams (8-1)
The former Ute played 16 snaps on special teams as the Rams lost their first game of the season against the New Orleans Saints, 45-35.
NEXT UP: vs. Seattle Seahawks (4-4), Sunday at 2:25 p.m. on CBS.

Star Lotulelei – Buffalo Bills (2-7)
Lotulelei started at defensive tackle and played 24 defensive snaps and 8 snaps on special teams in the Bills’ 41-9 loss to the Chicago Bears.

Tim Patrick – Denver Broncos (3-6)
Patrick started his second game of his career for the Broncos at wide receiver. He played 48 offensive snaps in Denver’s 19-17 loss to the Houston Texans.

Eric Rowe – New England Patriots (7-2)
The former Utah defensive back did not play in the Patriots 31-17 win over the Green Bay Packers.

Derrick Shelby – Atlanta Falcons (4-4)

The seven-year pro had two tackles including one for a loss in the Falcons 38-14 win over the Washington Redskins.

Alex Smith – Washington Redskins (5-3)
Smith completed 30 of his 46 pass attempts for 306 yards and a touchdown. He also had a 22 yard run as the Redskins lost to the Atlanta Falcons, 38-14.

Sam Tevi – Los Angeles Chargers (6-2)
The former Ute started and played 40 snaps on the offensive line in the Chargers’ 25-17 win over the Seahawks.

Eric Weddle – Baltimore Ravens (4-5)
Weddle led the Ravens with 7 tackles, 6 solo in a 23-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Marcus Williams – New Orleans Saints (7-1)
The second-year pro finished with two solo tackles as the Saints handed the Los Angeles Rams their first loss of the season, 45-35.

Kyler Fackrell – Green Bay Packers (3-4-1)
Fackrell assisted on a tackle in the 36 defensive snaps he played in. The Packers lost to the New England Patriots 31-17

Tyler Larsen – Carolina Panthers (6-2)
Larsen played six special teams snaps in the Panthers 42-28 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Nevin Lawson – Detroit Lions (3-5)
The fifth year cornerback started and had two tackles on 46 defensive snaps in the Lions 24-9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Patrick Scales – Chicago Bears (5-3)
Scales had one tackle while participating in 12 special teams snaps in the Bears’ 41-9 win over the Buffalo Bills.

Zach Vigil – Washington Redskins (5-3)
Vigil played in 23 special teams plays for the Redskins, which lost to the Atlanta Falcons 38-14.

Bobby Wagner – Seattle Seahawks (4-4)
Wagner had team high 13 tackles, including five solo tackles, deflected three passes and hit quarterback Phillip Rivers once in a 25-17 loss to the Chargers.

Former Cougars

Ziggy Ansah – Detroit Lions (3-5)
The sixth-year former Cougar played his second game of the season after missing the last six games with a shoulder injury. He had a sack in the Lions 24-9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Michael Davis – Los Angeles Chargers (6-2)
Davis had seven solo tackles and committed a pass interference penalty in the end zone on the last play of the game that gave the Seahawks one last chance on the goal line. The Chargers escaped Seattle with a 25-17 win.

John Denney – Miami Dolphins (5-4)
The 14-year long snapper participated in 12 special teams snaps in the Dolphins 13-6 win over the New York Jets.

Taysom Hill – New Orleans Saints (7-1)
Hill had two carries for 10 rushing yards and was targeted once as a receiver. He played 35 snaps, 11 on offense and 24 on special teams. The Saints beat the Rams 45-35.

Kyle Van Noy – New England Patriots (7-2)
The former BYU linebacker led the Patriots with 9 total tackles, including 3 solo stops. He assisted on a tackle-for-loss as New England beat Green Bay 31-17.

Fred Warner – San Francisco 49ers (2-7)
Warner once again led the team in tackles with seven while adding a pass deflection. The 49ers won their second game of the season, beating the Oakland Raiders 34-3.

Jamaal Williams – Green Bay Packers (3-4-1)
Williams ran the ball seven times for 34 yards, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. He added two catches for 20 yards, including a 16-yard grab. Green Bay lost to New England 31-17.
