SANDY, Utah – Utah Jazz rookie Grayson Allen was in attendance for Real Salt Lake’s playoff match against Sporting Kansas City Sunday night at Rio Tinto Stadium.
“It was a lot of fun, I wish the game would have gone a little better, but I guess I’ll take a tie,” said Allen. “But it was a great experience here, the crowd is incredible here. They’re a really good team so it’s fun.”
RSL didn’t win the match in a 1-1 tie to Sporting KC, but Allen scored a customized RSL jersey to show his support while sipping a hot beverage at the game.

Allen, who is averaging 4.4 points per game in his first year in the NBA, is dating Morgan Reid, who plays for the North Carolina Courage of the National Women’s Soccer League. As such, it’s no wonder he’s a fan of soccer.
Allen and the Jazz will take on the Toronto Raptors Monday at 7 p.m. at Vivint SmartHome Arena.
