The second year star injured his ankle in the fourth quarter in Utah’s 103-88 loss at Denver Sunday night. He briefly left the game to get his ankle re-taped before returning to the floor for a few minutes. He was then removed entirely from the game once Denver had pulled away significantly.
Mitchell has already missed one game this season with hamstring soreness. The Jazz lost that game, a 128-125 loss at Minnesota. He played in 79 of 82 regular season games last season.
Also noted in the injury report as probable were Alec Burks, Jae Crowder and Derrick Favors.
The game against the Raptors will tip off at 7 p.m. at Vivint SmartHome Arena and be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet.
