PROVO, Utah – The semifinals of the 3A UHSAA football state tournament is in the books. four teams competed in the semifinal round, only two teams clinched a berth into the championship game at Weber State University.

3A South No. 2-seed North Sanpete Hawks 23

3A North No. 1-seed Morgan Trojans 15

After trailing 7-0 in the second quarter, the Hawks rattled off 20 unanswered to clinch a berth in the 3A Championship game. Connor Jorgensen had two touchdowns in the win.

3A South No. 1-seed Summit Academy Bears 40

3A South No. 3-seed Juan Diego Soaring Eagles 6 

The Bears had a 33-0 advantage in the first half and that was all they needed. Talmage Brown scored three touchdowns for Summit Academy.

Summit Academy will face North Sanpete in the 3A Championship game on Saturday, November 10 at 4 p.m. at Weber State University.
