Weber State, Utah, Utah State Climbing Up Rankings

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Three universities in the state of Utah continue to climb up their respective polls. Weber State reached a milestone, Utah is back in the AP Top 25 poll and Utah State is just on the outside looking in.
Weber State Cracks Top 5
The Wildcats reached No. 4 in the country in the STATS FCS poll, reaching their highest ranking in school history. Weber State is 5-2 on the season, second place in the Big Sky Conference with a 3-1 record. The Wildcats beat Montana State 34-24 at home in their previous game, they will be on the road on Saturday to face No. 22 North Dakota at 1 p.m.
Utah Back In Top 25
After their 41-28 win over USC at home, the Utes climbed into the AP Top 25 poll at No. 23. They have been in the poll at least one week in three of the last four seasons. Utah has won their last three games and 5-2 overall, 3-2 in the Pac-12, they are tied for first place with USC in the South Division. The Utes will travel to UCLA on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Utah State Very Close To Top 25
The Aggies finished No. 27 in the country in the AP poll, collecting the second most ‘Others receiving votes’ with 50. Utah State has won their last six games after they knocked off the Wyoming Cowboys, 24-16. They are 6-1 overall and hold a 3-0 record Mountain West Conference action, which is good for first place in the Mountain Division. They hope to get into the Top 25 with a win against New Mexico, who they will host on Saturday at 2 p.m.
