LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies traveled up to Laramie, Wyoming and picked up a win over the Wyoming Cowboys,24-16. Fans are excited about the team winning their sixth straight game, becoming bowl eligible and almost cracking the AP Top 25 poll.
Big Conference Win
It wasn’t the prettiest offensive performance for the Aggies, racking up just 194 yards of total offense. But they had the help of their defense and special teams to give Utah State the road win.
The first play of the second half, Wyoming quarterback Tyler Vander Waal was picked off by safety Jontrell Rocquemore and returned it to the Wyoming three yard line. Utah State running back Darwin Thompson it in on the next play.
With 4:11 left in the third quarter, Aggies wide receiver Savon Scarver returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown. That score gave Utah State a 24-6 lead.

As easy as it is to worry about the Aggies hanging onto Wyoming and “only” scoring 24 points 🙄 let us not forget that we are bowl eligible AND IT’S OCTOBER! #AggiesAllTheWay
