PROVO, Utah – As Utah State defeated BYU 45-20 at LaVell Edwards Stadium last Saturday, social media was full of reactions from Cougar, Aggie and even Ute fans alike.
Aggies Take Over Provo
Utah State fans having one side of Lavell Edwards Stadium yelling “UTAH” and the other side tell “STATE” back and forth, louder than all the BYU fans, is the greatest thing that is happening. Pure bliss #USUvsBYU

Cougars’ Poor Performance Was Surprising
It’s been an up and down year for the Cougars, who defeated top-10 ranked Wisconsin earlier in the season. Many were shocked at how poorly BYU played against Utah State.
How did this BYU team beat Wisconsin in Madison?

You know I did pick Utah State to win tonight, but I was expecting a close one. This is embarrassing for BYU. That Wisconsin game is looking like a Fluke. If the Aggies arent ranked after tonight, the NCAA is stupid. #USUvsBYU

Quarterback Battle: Mangum vs. Love
Utah State quarterback Jordan Love had a fantastic game, throwing for four touchdown passes. BYU’s Tanner Mangum, on the other hand, struggled.
Jordan Love is the best QB in the state. Super impressed with that dude #USUvsBYU

Little Brother No Longer
Once known as BYU’s ‘little brother’, the Aggies put that nickname to bed with a convincing win on Saturday.
Little Brother resides in Provo. #USUvsBYU

A General Conference Jab
Some fans also made some topical jokes based on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints’ decision to shorten the length of their Sunday services.
*BREAKING* Byu fans decide that after last nights loss, they’d like to see less of each other. Church is changed to 2 hours ⛪️🙏🏽
