SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz center Hassan Whiteside was ejected late in the first quarter against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday evening.
Hassan Whiteside missed a layup late in the first quarter and got his own rebound and got the putback to go. As he started going down the floor, Whiteside yelled “and one” to official Marc Davis.
Davis quickly assessed two technical fouls to Whiteside and he was ejected from the game.
Seems like the Jazz already have more ejections this season in just 18 games than in most previous full seasons.

The Thunder had a 25-21 lead at the end of the first quarter. Whiteside had two points, one rebound and a foul in just three minutes on the floor.
This is the second time this season that Whiteside was ejected from a game. The first time was when he was involved in an altercation with JaMychal Green of the Denver Nuggets.
The Jazz will head back to Salt Lake City for four straight games at Vivint Arena beginning on Friday, November 26 against the New Orleans Pelicans. Utah’s game against the Thunder can be seen on AT&T SportsNet and heard on The Zone Sports Network.
