SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah and BYU are set to square off in three months, but the trash talk has already begun, which started with Utes defensive end Bradlee Anae.
The Utes and Cougars will face each other at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Thursday, August 29.
It originally started with FOX sports college football reporter Bruce Feldman tweeting about a conversation with Utah head football coach Kyle Whittingham.
Spoke to Kyle Whittingham the other day. He raved about the D-line he has. Best group he's had since he's been there, which is really, really saying something. DE Bradlee Anae is a name to remember. #Utah

Anae retweeted the San Diego Ute with a shot at BYU. He decided to return for his senior season rather than going early into the NFL Draft.

Senior Utah safety Julian Blackmon was keeping the peace between the two teams with his responses to Anae and Wilson. Blackmon will play his first season as a safety for the Utes after playing the last three as a cornerback.
That’s aggressive! Whoa!
