LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Utah Jazz forward Jae Crowder had his best offensive game in a long time as he scored 23 points in a 129-109 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Crowder had scored a season-high 30 points in a loss to the Toronto Raptors on Jan. 1st, but since then he had averaged just 8.1 points per game in seven games since then, below his season average of 11.8 points. Over that span, he was shooting just 20.5 percent from the field.
In the Jazz’s win over Detroit on Monday, Crowder went 0-for-6 with two points.

In L.A. Wednesday night, Crowder had a regression to the mean, or an above average night after a series of below average nights.
He shot 8-for-15 with five made 3-pointers in the win.
Despite his struggles on offense, Crowder had been playing stellar defense in the Jazz’s run of five straight wins.
