The Utah Jazz, with the help of point guard Ricky Rubio and small forward Joe Ingles, released a look at their new alternate jersey on social media Wednesday afternoon.

Rubio Provided The Anticipation
The jersey had been teased for some time by Rubio, who posted his excitement on Twitter last week.

He also provided a teaser in his Instagram Story just hours before the jersey was shown to the public for the first time.

Last Yearβs City Jerseys
Last season, the Jazz caused quite a stir in the basketball fashion world by rolling out their Southern Utah-inspired City jerseys. With an accompanying court, the nontraditional uniform was a hit with fans, selling out quickly.
In addition to the purple retro jersey that was unveiled Wednesday, the City jersey will be back in the Jazzβs rotation for the 2018-19 season, according to the team
